  1. Thanks. Just for clarification: when a “Stops” location change is “related to coordinate changes” – is that because the stop has moved, or is this always just a correction to the data?

Also, and again out of interest, is this the exact location of the bus stop sign?

    1. Hi Brian. In most cases a change to stop coordinates is an actual physical change to the location of the stop, and yes, these coordinates are the exact location of the stop.

  2. Hi,
Is there usually a big delay between new routes being added to the Journey Planner and those those routes appearing in the “Live Arrivals” section of the site? For example, the new RB1X river bus service was introduced over the summer and appeared in journey planner very promptly, however still isn’t in live arrivals. Not sure if this is due to an oversight, or whether it just takes much longer to get live data into your systems.

    Cheers,
    Luke

    1. Thanks for your comments – we have had problems with Route RB1X displaying – sometimes new routes, of which there are few, will take a little longer to appear but not normally more than a week after Journey Planner

      1. Any idea where the blocker is? Whenever I talk to various customer services, they try to blame someone else.
I can’t work out if it’s TFL, Thames Clippers, iBus or the unified API. (I’ve managed to rule out the website as I can see the data is missing at the API level).

      2. I noticed on this morning’s commute that the RB1X route was now coming through the API. I’ll take another look at weekend when the route is actually running. But hopefully this means it’s now working. Thanks!

        1. There were problems with processing this “non-standard” route numbers but I emphasised to developer colleagues the importance of it being included as a valid service so hopefully we’re OK now.
