In our work, we focus on bringing to life the Mayor Transport strategy, and specifically its “bold aim for 80% of all trips in London to be made on foot, by cycle or using public transport by 2041.
This year’s exhibit centers on the topic of cycling.
From cautious beginners to confident adventurers to weekend strollers, many of us have experienced cycling in London. It can be a great way to get around the city, see more, and stay active. TfL supports cycling journeys in London in a variety of ways, from planning a new route to work to hiring Santander Cycles to discover the city for the first time.
‘Cycleways, maps and routes’ is an exhibit in three parts:
The first part is an interactive exhibit to discover the data that powers TfL apps and websites and informs your experience of cycling in London.
The next part of the exhibit focuses on a collection of “thoughts” about cycling in London. Will you recognise yourself somewhere in the collection of objects and experiences?
Visitors can also join two talks by the TfL Experience team: ‘Inclusive, connected, future proof’, and ‘Screens and wheels’.
The talks will be starting on the hour between 14:00 and 18:00 on both days.
See you there!
